Doug Bennett – Mortgage Broker and Financial Adviser working in the financial services industry since 1983, Doug is the owner of DB Financial. Having arranged over 2000 mortgages in this time, he has a wealth of experience in this arena. In recent years, Doug has also increased the business’s presence in the Corporate Protection, and Personal Retirement and Investment Planning arena ensuring clients get a fully holistic review of their financial situation.

As a Life & Qualifying member of Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), the Premier Association of Financial Professionals, Doug works with this organisation to improve his skills and knowledge in Financial Services. Membership of MDRT at Court of the Table level places Doug in the top 2-3% of Financial Advisers globally.

Doug married Bonnie in April 2000. They have a cat Mia, and two dogs Phoebe (originally from Greece) and Luca (originally from Rumania). Doug has two sons, Jason & Jake.

Apart from playing golf really badly in his spare time, Doug enjoys relaxing with a good book. Occasionally, he adds a bit of excitement into his life, having ridden a 500cc Royal Enfield in the Himalayas and completed a trek up Kilimanjaro in October 2015. He has also completed the London Marathon, if asked in what time? “Before it got dark”… and raises money for a local charity US IN A BUS by completing the occasional sponsored event.

More recently Doug has spoken at Industry Seminars in Birmingham UK, Vancouver BC, Dunedin NZ, Auckland NZ and Gold Coast AUS, to provide etc

Nina Joslin – Nina is our Mortgage and Protection Co-ordinator, and joined DB Financial in March 2016. She worked at Nationwide for 27 years and in that time she has gained extensive knowledge in processing mortgages. In 2000, she set up a regional support unit in mortgage packaging and was an initial point of contact within the branch as a cashier, dealing with face-to-face enquiries from the customer.

Nina is married with 2 teenage boys and thoroughly enjoys camping, reading, cycling and swimming. The family also own a house on the Costa Brava that they enjoy visiting together whenever they can.

 

Tony Hammond – Tony is a Mortgage and Protection Advisor. Tony has a keen interest in property development having bought his first house in 1987 and has his own modest property portfolio.  His background in Corporate sales provides a great foundation for putting the customer at the centre of everything he does, listening carefully to what is important and making sure he provides the best levels of service. Having a ‘bit of grey’ gives his customers reassurance that they are in safe hands.

Tony is based in Yorkshire and is bilingual in both Southern and Northern dialects! Being a besotted Father of a young Daughter, he only occasional gets out in his spare time to discover the backroads of Yorkshire on his motorcycle.  Preferring to play six games of Junior Monopoly in a row!

 

Suze Taylor – Suze joined DB Financial in July 2017 and is our Wealth Planning co-ordinator who has over 7 years experience working within the Financial Services industry. Having worked for Baker Tilly and Equiniti within that time, she has gained vast experience in corporate benefits, personal pensions and investment products.

Suze is married with 2 daughters and loves spending time with her family. She also has 2 retired greyhounds who she enjoys taking for long walks, as well as relaxing with a good book and a glass of wine.
